Anuradha Ramachandran

Ms Anuradha is with Ventureast since October 2006, there she manages the seed-stage investments of the Ventureast-Tenet Fund. She has appraised more than 250 proposals, and made five investments, all of which are proprietary deals of the fund. Her portfolio companies include Intelizon Energy, a solar power products firm; Mobien, an enterprise mobility solutions firm; Lattice Bridge a speech recognition technology solutions provider; Vortex, a technology-enabled finance solutions provider; and USourceIT a service provider to SMEs in the outsourcing industry.
Anuradha’s experience in corporate finance and investment banking contributes to the ability to analyse investment opportunities and assess exit avenues early-on. For instance, in the case of Lattice Bridge, she contributed to a ground-up analysis of a new business the company was venturing into, including defining competing business models and the primary benefit which the company would derive from venturing into such a business. Similarly, with Mobien she helped define the company’s position in the value chain of business processes, which was a key input for investment decision-making.
Anuradha worked with the Tenet group of IIT Madras prior to the joining of hands with Ventureast. The fund is a pioneering effort due to its association with the premier educational and research institution. Prior to the Tenet group, Anuradha worked in the investment banking and corporate finance divisions of Lazard India, UTV Interactive, Cadila Pharmaceuticals, and Financial Express. She has experience across segments such as M&A, strategic advisory, planning, project finance, and equity research.
Anuradha has a B.Sc in Physics and an MBA in Finance from the Madurai Kamaraj University. She is a director on the boards of her portfolio companies, a member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), and the Indian Angel Network. She is an amateur basketball player, an avid reader of fiction, and a movie buff.
Ashwani Singla

Mr. Singla is the Chief Executive of Genesis Burson-Marsteller, India’s most trusted public relations and public affairs consulting firm. In the two decades he has consulted companies across diverse sectors, from IT, Telecom, FMCG, Fashion & Lifestyle, Media & Entertainment, Automobiles, Power & Gas, and Financial Services amongst others. He has counseled multinationals corporations, domestic enterprises and the emerging Indian Multinational enterprises.
Ashwani is also a trustee of the Genesis Foundation, a not for profit organization that facilitates critical medical care for abandoned and underprivileged children. He is a board member of the India Chapter of International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and also plays an active role in the Public Relations Consultants Association of India (PRCAI) and the International Communications Consultancy Organization (ICCO). He has initiated and led many of the best practices prevalent in the Indian public relations industry today. He often dons the professorial hat in teaching courses and conducting training programmes in public relations across the country.
C. N. Ram

Mr. Ram is one of the promoters of Rural Shores Business Services, a firm that proposes to set up BPOs in villages in partnership with rural entrepreneurs and create employment opportunities in rural India. He was, till June 2008, the Head-IT at HDFC bank where he was responsible for taking the bank through the wave of technology enablement. Before that he spent 12 years with Bank of America setting up the bank’s Indian IT operations. Mr. Ram is an IIT, Madras and IIM, Ahmedabad alumnus.
Kenneth A. Wolinsky

Mr. Wolinsky holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Ohio University, Athens Ohio, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Baldwin-Wallace College, Berea Ohio.
Recently retired Ken spent seven years as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Avery Dennison Corporation. Avery Dennison is a global leader in pressure-sensitive labeling materials, retail tag, ticketing and branding systems, and office products. Based in Pasadena, Calif., Avery Dennison is a FORTUNE 500 Company with 2007 sales of $6.3 billion. As CIO, Ken was responsible for world-wide development, direction and implementation of Avery’s overall information strategy. In his 22-year career at Avery, Ken also held director level positions in IT, production and inventory control, logistics as well as supply chain engineering. Ken joined Avery from The Cleveland Range Company where he served as Director of Strategic Information Systems. Prior to Cleveland Range, Ken spent ten years with The Caterpillar Tractor Corporation in various operations management positions.

As the Head of SAP Global Delivery, he managed operations in 5 centers across the globe. As the Regional Vice President of Oracle India, he headed their North America India Operations. He served Price Waterhouse Mumbai as a Managing Consultant to establish ERP practice. He also served Cap Gemini as Vice President.
