Milpitas, CA – January 21, 2020 – Seclore, provider of the first open Data-Centric Security Platform, is proud to report that Linde Engineering is using Seclore Rights Management to protect and track files, emails, and attachments for both internal and external users. Starting in late 2016 and having successfully deployed Seclore Rights Management to many users, the company recently started adding users from its subsidiaries.

Seclore Rights Management goes beyond traditional encryption solutions by automatically applying persistent, granular usage controls and tracking to sensitive documents, emails, and attachments. The usage controls, designed to address global compliance regulations, enforce what a recipient can do with a file (view, edit, copy, print), from which device/geography, and for how long. File owners can also dynamically modify the usage controls or revoke access on previously distributed files.

To ensure information is consistently protected, the usage controls can be automatically or manually applied to files, emails, and attachments based on pre-defined rules.

“Given today’s complex business and compliance landscape, Linde Engineering is confidently satisfied that our employees and external partners have access to Seclore’s advanced data protection and tracking technology,” said Dr. Uli Hofmann, Head of Global IT at Linde Engineering. “We are looking forward to growing user adoption and use cases while continuing to build on our close partnership with Seclore.”

“We continue to focus on delivering innovative data-centric security that addresses vital business use cases and consistently closes security gaps through powerful integration and automation capabilities,” stated Jasbir Singh, Partner and Managing Director of Seclore Europe. “We are delighted that Dr. Hofmann and the team at Linde have given the Seclore solution their vote of confidence.”

Seclore Rights Management is part of Seclore’s zero-trust Data-Centric Security Platform. The open platform enables organizations to easily integrate with best-of-breed data protection solutions (DLP, CASB, and eDiscovery) and enterprise applications (content management, transactional applications, file sharing, and email systems) to automatically protect documents as they are discovered, downloaded, and shared.
