Align Your Business With the NIST 800 171 Guidelines
Make cybersecurity your top priority with SECLORE and its NIST aligned enterprise solution standards.

What are the NIST 800 171 Guidelines?
NIST 800-171 is a set of regulations that is designed to ensure the confidentiality of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in environments outside of federal systems. The primary goal of the guidelines is to define a set of consistent security requirements to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access.
The regulation is relevant and applicable to contractors, subcontractors, and all other entities that handle CUI but are not under the umbrella of US federal systems. The regulation is a comprehensive set of controls split into 14 domains, with more than 110 individual security controls present across all domains.
Why Data-Centric Security for NIST 800-171 Compliance?
The NIST 800-171 is a regulation that is extremely focused on data security. It emphasizes usage of secure cryptographic protocols to prevent unauthorized access of CUI. Furthermore organizations are encouraged to undertake regular risk assessments and identify clear plans to maintain data integrity.
Seclore provides advanced cryptographic solutions and ensures enterprises are in a position to comply with NIST 800-171 at scale. The ability to control data on a micro-segmented level and to revoke access as necessary in case of a breach have so far been highlighted as critical technical capabilities when complying with NIST 800-171. Finally, the Enterprise Risk Management products SECLORE provides are a critical lever to enhance the overall risk management framework around CUI data.
