How to open a protected file in your browser without installing anything

You need

A browser with an Internet connection.

Steps to open

choose one 1 2 1 Double-click on the file. It will display a web page with options to open the file.

choose one 2 2 Click on the ‘Open in browser’ button.

choose one 3 2 You will be asked for your email ID. If you’re an employee, enter your work email ID. If you’re a vendor or business partner, enter the email ID you use to communicate with this organization.

choose one 4 2 Follow the system prompts to log in successfully. The file will open in your browser.

Working with the file

choose one 1 2 1 Click on the Seclore badge to view your permissions on the file.

choose one 2 2 If the owner of the file has given you the right permissions, you will be able to edit and print the file.

choose one 3 2 Any changes you make will be saved automatically, and you will receive an updated copy on email.

How to open a protected email in your browser

You need

A browser with an Internet connection.

Steps to open

choose one 1 2 1 Double-click on the email attachment that ends with ‘.smail.html’ or download and open it.

choose one 2 2 It will display a web page with options to open it. Click on the ‘Open in browser’ button.

choose one 3 2 You will be asked for your email ID. If you’re an employee, enter your work email ID. If you’re a vendor or business partner, enter the email ID you use to communicate with this organization.

Replying to the email

choose one 1 2 1 You can reply to this email in the web page itself.
